Can I run a report showing Certificates added by our customers via the WebPortal vs. Certificates added by us in Avalara CertCapture?

Overview

We would like to know which Certificates we have manually uploaded and which Certificates were uploaded by our customers.

Environment

Avalara CertCapture

Resolution

  • There is no 'report' that we can run that will show this information.  However, we can narrow the search criteria within the 'Certificate Search' to view Certificates uploaded using one or the other upload method.
     

  • Within CertCapture:

    • Click 'Search' > 'Certificate Search'

    • Select 'Advanced' as opposed to 'Basic'

    • Expand 'Certificate Attributes'

      • If you would like to view Certificates that have been uploaded by your customer using the webportal:

        • on the line: 'Certificate has Any of the following attributes: '

        • Choose Attributes... Select, 'FILLED ONLINE WEBPORTAL'

      • If you would like to view Certificates that have been uploaded by you:

        • on the line: 'Certificate does not have Any of the following attributes: '

        • Choose Attributes... Select, 'FILLED ONLINE WEBPORTAL'
