You need to revoke a certificate in the Admin Console.
- Go to Organization > Exemptions > select the Exemption Certificate> click Revoke.
- If you're unable to revoke the certificate, contact Avalara Support and provide the Customer ID, Cert ID and region(s) if more than one certificate is on file for the customer.
Note: Once you revoke the certificate it can't apply to any new sales. if you need to exempt the customer, open the certificate and click Copy, or create a new certificate.
