ACTION NEEDED: ConnectWise customers may need to change their billing relationship with Avalara

Overview

Avalara and ConnectWise are operating under a new contract effective January 1, 2020. Existing ConnectWise customers using AvaTax who signed on before December 31, 2019 need to move to a direct paid relationship with Avalara for their AvaTax usage.

Resolution

  • ConnectWise customers only: Please add your payment information to your Avalara account. See Manage billing for instructions on how to add payment information to your Avalara account. Once you have added payment information, Avalara will bill you directly for your AvaTax usage from the ConnectWise connector.
     
  • ConnectWise customers who have other Avalara products: Avalara will use your payment information that we have on file. If you want to change your payment method, see Manage billing.

FAQs

Will this impact my three-year price lock with ConnectWise?

No. Avalara is honoring the existing price lock customers had in place with ConnectWise and AvaTax.

 Will this impact my AvaTax service?

No. The only change is who you are paying for the service.
