Why did the test connection fail?


You are trying to set up your software but could not connect and want to know what could have caused this.

  • You need a valid account number, license key and company code to connect to most systems.
  • Verify your credentials are correct:
  • Please verify your credentials in RED means your combination is invalid.
  • Success in GREEN means they are a valid combination
  • To check the status of your AvaTax subscription. Log into your AvaTax Update account and click 'Transactions' tab.
    • Active accounts are able to view transactions within AvaTax Update.
    • Inactive accounts will receive a subscription status message. 
  • If your AvaTax Sandbox or AvaTax Production account has expired. Contact your Account Manager to reactivate your subscription.
