Why was my return not filed?

Overview

I do not see that a return for a particular jurisdiction has been filed and I need to know why

Environment

Admin Console

Resolution

  • You may not have an active filing calendar for the applicable jurisdiction

    • Go to Tax Returns>Filing Calendars>Active Filing Calendars

    • Click on the plus sign to expand the Active Filing Calendars field and also put a check mark in the box beside Display Expired Filing Calendars

    • If there is not a filing calendar for the applicable jurisdiction or it is expired- then that is why a return has not been filed.
