You are integrating an accounting system or shopping cart with Avalara AvaTax and it is asking for a username and password which is not present in your other systems, you need to know where to locate this information.
Avalara Avatax Integrations
- We recommend setting up a unique user in the Admin Console for your accounting system with an Account Admin or Company Admin user role.
- Systems which require this type of user typically need to be able to access functions available for admin level users only
- The password would need to be changed any time that user changed their password, for this reason we recommend setting up a separate user specifically for your accounting system (so an individual's access does not impact use)
- You can use your own login and password, you will need to update these credentials in the integration every time you update your password
