Why is this transaction in Avatax but not my merchant account?

Overview

The transaction in Avatax is not in my merchant account and I want to know why.

Environment

Avalara Avatax

Resolution

There are two reasons this could happen. 

  • The transaction was created and then deleted in your Merchant account but not in Avatax. 
  • The transaction was created manually in the admin console.
