Why is the address incorrect on my transaction in the admin console?

Overview

A transaction in the admin console is showing a different ship to address from the transaction in your ERP.

Avalara AvaTax

Resolution

  • Please check if latitude and longitude is attached to the customer card.
  • Passing both a physical address with a latitude and longitude can cause unexpected results.
  • It is suggested to only pass a physical address or a latitude and longitude.

Note: Latitude and longitude can only be used for address validation in the US and Canada.
