Why is my certificate throwing an error for missing address when our customer has one?


Our cert is throwing an error that says the certificate customer does not contain an address, however our customer does have an address in their details.

  • Please check to be sure that your customer's address is in line 1.
  • If the address line 1 field is empty, and their address is in line 2, it will throw this error.
  • Avalara CertCapture looks at address line 1 first and if this is empty considers them to be without an address.
