When generating a report in the Admin Console, you receive the following error in the download pop-up window:
" An unexpected failure occurred. The error may be due to a temporary interruption in the service. Please try again or contact Avalara Support if the failure persists."
This error usually occurs when the report tries to pull too much data and times out
To make sure this is not an issue with the service, please change your date range to one month or one quarter and try running the report again
If you do a rather large amount of transactions per month, you may need to set the date range to one day or one week but this is not common
