Why aren't my invoices on the Admin Console?

Invoices are not showing up on the AvaTax Admin Console

Environment

Sage 500

Resolution

  • There are many reasons for an invoice failing to reach the Admin Console. Below are a few of the  most common in Sage 500:
  • Tax schedule is not AVATAX
    • Check the Customer Card > Sales Tax button in bottom left
    • Check the items on the invoice
      • Pull up invoice, go to the Details tab > Sales Tax
      • Next to the Amount field, press the box icon
      • Make sure the Sales Tax Schedule is one of the AVATAX schedules
  • Item is not present: free form item without an actual record in 500
  • Recurring transaction using an invoice that does not have the AVATAX tax schedule
