Why are jurisdictions missing from our tax calculation on a specific invoice?

I have a transaction that is missing several jurisdictions from it that should be calculating.

Resolution

Please be sure to check for any custom rules that could be affecting rates you are seeing in calculation for tax codes invovled in your transactions.

 

Cause

Customer was unaware of custom rules telling the engine to make certain rates not appear (nontaxable) for that tax code.
