Why am I receiving a Zuora time out error when trying to process a bill run?

I'm receiving an error when trying to run a billrun in Zuora that states the API call to Avatax timed out.

Resolution

  • This can happen if we have a queue for batches, resulting in a backlog.
  • The only way to work around this is to keep trying the bill run at a later time.
