How do you create a new company in CertCapture?

Overview

You want a new company to be created in Avalara CertCapture.

Resolution

  • As an Admin level user, go to Account Settings > Account Details > Company Hierarchy and click Add Company. Then enter the information that you want for the new company.
    • Your CertCapture fax number should be provisioned and visible within the following 48 hours. If it is not, please email support@avalara.com providing your account and company. 
    • You will also want to make sure that you add users to the new company. This can be done under Account Settings or Company Settings.
  • If you would like the company connected to an Avalara AvaTax account, send an email to support@avalara.com providing that account number, company name, and company code.
