How do I unlink Same-As customers in CertCapture?

Overview

You want to unlink some customers you linked together with the Same-As tool in your Enterprise CertCapture account.

Environment

Avalara CertCapture

Resolution

  • Go to the customer record > SameAs tab > right click on customer > select Unlink
  • You can now make change to the customer and the attached certificates without affecting the previously linked customer
  • Any updates made as a result of the Same As linking must be manually changed, they are not removed when you unlink the customers.
