How do I resolve the error Certificate details cannot be found in CertCapture?

Overview

You have validated a certificate but it is not appearing in your admin console, you reviewed the certificate history tab, the following error message appears:

 

API call initiated for certificate: Failure. 
Received response: Certificate details cannot be found.

Resolution

  • This error indicates there is not enough information to post the certificate to the admin console:
    • Add a customer to the certificate (Customers tab on certificate > click +Link Customer > fill in fields > The customer must have an address)
    • Review Detail tab, there must an Exempt ReasonSigned and Expired date must be filled in, and if Single is checked, there must be a PO number
  • Once you have made adjustments, go back to History tab > API call initiated for certificate: Success. indicates it was sent successfully
