Why can I not find a customer by Alternate ID when Validating a Stack?


When searching for a customer while you are Validating a Stack, you can find a record if you use the customer name or customer ID, but not if you search using an Alternate ID and you want to know how to enable this.




  • Go to a Stack 
  • Click on the Magnifying Glass icon on the line labeled Customers (this is Search Customers)
  • Click on the the Gear icon
  • Check the box next to each option needed - Include Customer Alternate Ids 
  • You can now search for a customer by their Alternate ID in this search function 


Note: Adding a customer in Customers (the blank appearing on the certificate in Validation) will only pull up customers based on customer name or customer ID, not Alternate ID.
