Why can't I connect to our development account

Overview

I am trying to connect to the service with my development account. I am getting an error that says "Company not found"

Environment

Avalara AvaTax

Resolution

  • This error indicates that you are pointing to a company code that does not exist in the Admin Console
    • Check to make sure your configuration settings are pointing to the correct account number and company code
  • The company code can be found in the Development Admin Console in the Organization tab.
