Why am I getting a CB-201 error when I'm trying to email an invoice

Overview

 While invoice a customer, a CB-201 error is displayed.

Environment

QuickBooks

Resolution

  • Close QuickBooks completely 
  • Start your task manager 
    • Kill all QuickBooks, QB, Intuit, Avalara, and AvaTax related processes 
  • Start QuickBooks by right clicking on the icon and selecting Run as Administrator
    • Log in as the Admin user
  • You should now be able to proceed without that error.
