How do I resolve the error "Unable to email request - no file found - Ensure you have selected at least one file to send?"

Overview

You are getting an error when you attempt to send a mailout campaign certificate request and all of the customers show "Not Sending (excluded ship customers)" and you want to know how to resolve this error so you can send requests.

Resolution

  • Add a ShipTo state to the customer, they must have at least one ShipTo state so a certificate can be requested in a campaign
  • Create an import file with just the Billing Customer Number and Shipping Customer State columns
    • List each customer on one row with one shipping state

 

Note: To add a ShipTo state by hand go to the customer record and Select the ShipTo tab then Click +Add ShipTo State
