AvaTax address validation is a feature that verifies, corrects, and formats addresses according to the USPS database. If you have multiple accounts for which you want to validate addresses, the fastest way to do that is to validate them in bulk.
- In Salesforce Sales Cloud, go to Accounts, select any view, and then select Go.
- Select all accounts for which you want to validate addresses, and then select Validate Billing Address or Validate Shipping Address.
Validated versions of the addresses display.
- Select all accounts for which you want to accept the validated versions of the addresses, and then select Update Validated Address.
