Cancel your Avalara for Small Business subscription

What happens after you cancel your subscription:

  • You immediately lose access to your Avalara for Small Business account.
  • If you have scheduled a return, it won't be filed.
  • Your integrations settings won't be retained.

To cancel a subscription, follow the steps:


  1. Sign in to Avalara.
  2. Select Account > Products and usage.

  3. Select the Manage subscriptions tab.

  4. Select Cancel subscription. 
    Cancel subscription
  5. Select your reason for canceling, and then select Next > Cancel my subscription
    Select reason and confirm
