Booking Process

What do you do after a customer signs a Sales Order?

  1. Add the signed Sales Order as well as the supporting booking calculation to the opportunity in Sales Force under 'Notes and Attachments.'
  2. Send an email to Sales.Operations@Avalara.com with the following request.

    On the email, include the Director of Enterprise Account Management (currently Bob Leo), Billing Operations Analyst (Madeline Garavaglia), and the Communications Sales Engineer (currently Jason Darland).
    • Update the booked value and date of the opportunity
    • Link to opportunity in SF
    • Customer Name
    • Amount
    • Product purchased
  3. Send a questionnaire to the customer (see the attached template) to be completed as part of the Get Started process. 
  4. Give yourself a high five or solicit one from a coworker on a job well done.
