Why is my PayPal invoice flagged for review in TrustFile?


The invoice you created in PayPal has been flagged for review in TrustFile.




Invoices created via PayPal and synchronized with TrustFile don't have tax and shipping amount separated from the sales price. Everything (sales price, shipping, tax and shipping tax) is summed up as a single amount. TrustFile marks the invoice with an alert message: "Tax is not available for invoices in the PayPal API. Please reconcile and update if this invoice has tax associated."

Edit the transactions in TrustFile to update the sales and tax amounts:

  • Go to Transactions
  • Filter for Alerts
  • Select the Transactions
  • Edit
  • Save

Returns are automatically generated with the updated data.
