Exemption certificates should be accurate and up-to-date. It's a good practice to keep historical certificates on file to ensure you're prepared for an audit, but certificates uploaded in error can be deleted. If the certificate is expired or otherwise invalid, consider editing the certificate and marking it invalid instead of deleting it.
You can delete a certificate which is awaiting for review.
- From the home page, go to Exemptions > Certificates to review.
The Certificates to review page opens.
- Select a certificate that you want to delete, and click Review.
- Select Delete.
- In the message that appears, select OK to confirm that you'd like to delete the certificate.
