Understanding campaigns in CertCapture

This article applies to:CertCapture

CertCapture lets you request compliance documents from several customers at once by creating a campaign. Send just a letter, or a letter with blank forms for your customers to fill out and return.

This can be useful if you need to request documents that are missing, invalid, expired, or expiring soon.

When you create a campaign, CertCapture sends a cover letter to your customers requesting that they send you their updated compliance documents to replace any that are invalid, expired, expiring soon, or missing. Cover letters can use template tags so that they automatically pull in the correct information for each customer. The standard cover letter that's built into CertCapture includes a CertExpress link, which allows your customers can easily add documents directly to your CertCapture validation queue. This allows you to skip directly to validating the document, and saves you the time of uploading and merging it.

Campaigns can be configured in a number of different ways:

  • You can request documents in all of the customer's shipping states.
  • You can create a campaign to request documents from multiple customers, but for a single state.
  • You can request documents from customers associated with a specific retail location.

Once you've created a campaign, copy the campaign round to speed up the campaign process and expedite sending a new request, following-up on a previous round, or delivering a thank you note to your customers.

Campaigns don't close automatically. If your campaign status is "In process" but you've collected all the documents that you need, go to Manage Documents > Campaigns > Manage and close the campaign.

Export an overview of your campaign to track campaign data review the efficiency of your campaign methods.
