Understanding user roles

This article applies to:CertCapture

User roles are permission sets that determine what a user can and can't do in CertCapture. Roles are assigned on a per company basis, so a given user may have different permissions depending on the company they're working in.

View user role permissions in CertCapture at Settings > Account Settings > User Roles. If none of the user roles listed here meet your needs, consider creating a custom user role.

* By default, the auditor user role does not have access to any documents, so you need to assign specific documents to them. For example, if you are under audit in Florida, assign only your Florida exemption certificates to the auditor. Learn how to assign documents to an auditor.
