Revalidate a document

If you need to change the exposure zones associated with a certificate after validating it, use the Revalidate option to create a copy of the document with the adjusted exposure zones.

Steps

  1. In CertCapture, search for the document you want to revalidate.
  2. Select the Submit for Revalidation button.
  3. In the message that appears, select the check box if you'd like to mark the current document invalid.
    If you don't select the check box, the existing document is not changed and a copy is sent to the validation queue.
  4. Select Clone Certificates.

A copy of the document is sent to the validation queue, under Manage Documents > Validate Documents. Navigate to that section to validate it with the adjusted details.
