Revalidate a document

If you need to change the exposure zones associated with a certificate after validating it, use the Revalidate option to create a copy of the document with the adjusted exposure zones.

Steps

  1. In CertCapture, search for the document you want to revalidate.
  2. Select the Revalidate button.
  3. In the message that appears, choose if you would like to invalidate and copy the current document, or copy the current document without invalidating it.
  4. Select Resubmit for Validation.

A copy of the document is sent to the validation queue, under Manage Documents > Validate Documents. Navigate to that section to validate it with the adjusted details.
