Add a custom invalid reason

Create a new invalid reason to help track why some documents are invalid when generating reports or  searching for documents

Steps

  1. In CertCapture, go to Settings > Account Settings > Invalid Reasons.
    The Invalid Reasons page opens.
  2. Select one of the following:
    • Add Invalid Reason: To create a new invalid reason.
    • Edit: To edit an existing invalid reason.
  3. Enter a unique name and description.
    The name you enter here appears in the invalid reason list when validating documents.
  4. Optional: If your account uses other document types beyond Sales and Use, add other document types the reason can apply to.
  5. Select Add to save.
