As a BigCommerce customer, how do I record my documents (invoices) to AvaTax?

You use BigCommerce and want to know how to record your documents (invoices) in AvaTax Update.

Resolution

  • You must enable a setting. Go to BigCommerce Store Setup > Tax > Tax Options
  • Enable Document Submission (slide setting on - circle turns blue) for
    • AvaTax Reports
    • Avalara Returns Service
    • Avalara Support to assist in troubleshooting a calculation issue
