Export, Save, and Print Admin Console Reports

This article applies to:Avalara AvaTax

Our robust reporting capabilities let you export your data from the Admin Console. You can work with different report formats, save and reuse report criteria, and print reports.

You can generate reports at any time. However, transaction history is available for reporting 6 hours after a document is committed in AvaTax. For more recent transaction activity, use the transactions list filter on the transactions tab. For more information about report types and to learn how to run these reports, read our report descriptions. Learn how these reports are linked to one another or review the answers to our frequently asked questions about reports.

Reports in HTML format

You can generate reports at any time. However, transaction history is available for reporting 24 hours after a document is committed in AvaTax. For more recent transactionHoverTT.png activity, use the transactions list filter on the transactions tab.

Reconcile Reports and Tax Returns Reports can be generated in the HTML file format:

  • Displays reports in a browser window with controls for navigating, searching, exporting, and printing the reports
  • Embeds hyperlinks in the reports allowing you to "drill down" to detailed transaction information

Note:
  • You may "drill down" to related reports in an HTML report. The use of the browser Back button will return you to the Admin Console, not to the parent HTML report. Navigating HTML reports requires the use of the Back button in the HTML report viewer  to return to the parent HTML report.
